Quick Green Peas Curry made with Besan flour ( Without Coconut /Cashew Paste)



Ingredients 

Green peas ( soaked overnight & cooked  )   : 1 cup  
Besan  Flour                                            : 2 1/2 tbsps 
Chopped onion                                         : 2 tbsps 
Chopped Tomato                                       : 2 tbsps 
Ginger - Garlic paste                                    : 1 tbsp
Chilly powder                                             : 1 1/2 Tsps 
Coriander Powder                                       : 2 tbsps
Cumin powder                                              : 1 tsp 
Garam masala powder                                  : 1 tsp
Amchoor powder                                         : 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder                                          : 1/2 tsp
Salt
Oil
Coriander leaves



Method


Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan,add cumin seeds ,let it sizzle.
Add onion,slitted green chilly and fry.
Add the chopped tomatoes,ginger garlic paste and stir for few minutes.
Now add the besan flour and roast it for few minutes.
Slim down the fire,add the masala powders along with Salt.
Then add 1/2 cup water and make smooth paste.
Cook on low flame for five minutes.
Add boiled peas with its water and mix. 
Bring it to boil until done.
Finally add coriander leaves and Serve..


Instant Mixed Millet Paniyaram ( No Fermentation) - Millet Recipes

       


Ingredients

Foxtail millet / Thinai / தினை                              : 1/4 cup
Little Millet / Samai /  சாமை                                  : 1/4 cup
Barnyard Millet / Kuthiraivali / குதிரை வாலி     : 1/4  cup      
Rice Flour                                                                : 1/4 cup
urad dal                                                                    : 1/2 cup 
Fenugreek seeds                                                       : 1/2 tsp 
Salt
Oil

Method  

Wash &Soak all the millets.urad dal,fenugreek seeds for 5 hours.
Grind to a smooth paste with rice flour,add salt and mix well.
Heat a paniyaram pan,add oil,pour the batter in each mould and let it cook.
Turn and cook the other side too.
Serve hot with any chutney..
